Litchi for iOS app overview and test

I finally finished my Litchi for iOS app overview and test.  Overall, I like Litchi.  it offers a LOT of options for waypoint flights.  Litchi currently ONLY offers waypoint flights for iOS as opposed to their Android offering that has orbit and follow me etc.

It would be nice to be able to adjust the camera in Litchi.  My process for using Litchi (or Airnest) is this:

Use Go to check sensors and drone status.  Once the status comes ready and the sensor values all look good, I fly the drone over by where the first waypoint is set.  I try to match the location and altitude.  Once there, I setup the camera's exposure and usually yaw the drone around in place to get a feel for the overall exposure I will get.

I then aim the gimbal at the point of interest.  I then set the remote to F mode, quit Go and start the 3rd party app (Litchi or Airnest).

Once there, I load my mission and run it.  So, without any further ado, here is the video:

Airnest Testing and Capsule Review

I went out to the local college's observatory to test out Airnest.  I bought Airnest as an alternative to the DJI Go application in the hopes that it would provide a smoother POI style video than the results you saw in my last video.  

I ran a test and compared Airnest to DJI Go and the results of that are detailed in the video above.  I only talk about the specific POI task in that video and I wanted to offer some more thoughts on Airnest.  

I can see that there are issues with getting a nice smooth pan.  Hell, maybe part of that was my unsteady finger as I drew the flight path on the iPad.  I will do a head to head feature comparison with a couple of other apps and then look at what sets Airnest apart.
